Richard Oh, MD, FACS

Dr. Oh was born in Seoul, South Korea. He grew up in Houston, TX and graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University in San Antonio with a B.S. in engineering sciences. He is an Alpha Omega Alpha honor graduate of medicine from the university of Texas San Antonio medical school. He then completed general surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX training under world renowned surgeon Dr. Michael E. Debakey.
Before relocating to the East Valley, Dr. Oh practiced surgery for four years in Seattle, WA. There he was a clinical instructor in both the Swedish Hospital general surgery residency program and the University of Washington Medical School. He received the outstanding faculty instructor award from the Swedish Hospital Surgical Residents in 2005.
