DAVID ROW, MD, FACS
Dr. David Row was born in Los Angeles, California but grew up in the suburbs of Trenton, New Jersey. He attended Andrews University for his undergraduate education and subsequently attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California where he earned his M.D. in 2001.
Dr. Row completed his general surgery training in 2007 at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester, a major affiliate of New York Medical College. He then spent a year as the Colon and Rectal Surgery resident at the St. Mark’s Healthcare Foundation program in Salt Lake City, Utah. This was followed by an additional year of Colorectal Oncology fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. W. Douglas Wong at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Dr. Row initially took a position as an Acting Instructor in Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, but decided to move to the East Valley in the summer of 2010. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, as well as, the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. His scope of practice includes colonoscopy, proctology, and the treatment of colorectal malignancies. In addition, Dr. Row has a clinical interest in pelvic floor disorders, hereditary colon cancer syndromes, and minimally invasive approaches to colon resection for both benign and malignant disease.
His other interests include watching movies, skiing, and rock-climbing.
