KONYA KEELING-JOHNSON, MD

Dr. Konya Keeling-Johnson grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Maryland, College Park. She earned a Medical Degree at the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 2003. After her General Surgery Residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., she completed a Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Keeling-Johnson is interested in all realms of colon and rectal surgery but particularly inflammatory bowel disease, minimally invasive colon resections, colon cancer screening via colonoscopy and pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. Keeling-Johnson is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. When not involved in patient care, she enjoys traveling, exercising, crocheting and reading.
