Lori Gordon, M.D.
Lori Gordon, M.D. is originally from Wichita Falls, TX and completed undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. TX. She attended medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX and then stayed at the medical center for general surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital. She then completed a one year fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO before moving to Arizona in 2001.
Dr. Gordon is board certified in general surgery and colon and rectal surgery, but limits her practice specifically to problems of the colon and rectum, including colonoscopy. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She also maintains active membership in the American Medical Association, Arizona Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, Association of Women Surgeons, and the Parkland Surgical Society.
Her professional interests are focused on laparoscopic treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the colon and rectum, but she also enjoys performing colonoscopy and treating issues related to pelvic floor disorders.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gordon is an avid sports fan and enjoys water sports and playing golf.
