Carrie A. Cashman, M.D.
Dr. Cashman grew up in Mesa, AZ. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She then attended medical school at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She did her general surgery training at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency program and has returned to the East Valley to join Advanced Surgical Associates.
Dr. Cashman’s interests are focused on the treatment of all types of breast disease, with an emphasis on the treatment of breast cancer. Her practice includes core biopsies, surgical biopsies, lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel node procedures and venous access procedures for chemotherapy. Dr. Cashman is a member of The American Society of Breast Surgeons and she also organizes and runs the breast cancer conference at BannerDesert Medical Center.
While not operating, Dr. Cashman enjoys running and yoga. She and her husband enjoy traveling, scuba diving and snowboarding together.
