Dr. Cashman grew up in Mesa, AZ.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.  She then attended medical school at the University of Arizona in Tucson.  She did her general surgery training at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency program and has returned to the East Valley to join Advanced Surgical Associates.  Dr. Cashman’s surgical interests include all types of breast surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, hernia repairs, and laparoscopic operations for gallbladder disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

While not operating, Dr. Cashman enjoys running.  She also likes spending time with her husband.  They enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and snowboarding together.
